Hi and thank you for visiting my website! I hope you will be inspired by my background of over 30 years in health and fitness and my own journey that has bought me to where I am today, to help teach you to take control of your destiny towards achieving your own health and weight loss goals!
My journey began at eighteen years of age when I joined a local health club in Auckland, New Zealand and started weight training due to being dissatisfied with my own body. I tried every diet imaginable to try to get “the body”, but nothing seemed to work! Cellulite laden thighs and shapeless, tree trunk legs were all I saw when I looked in the mirror. Although I was not obese, I was depressed by what I saw and determined to change my reflection!
Never did I imagine that now today, at 52 years of age, I would have the body that I would only have dreamed about back then, and realize how much I could turn back the clock with the wonders of training, good nutrition and other key components that will help me look and feel years younger than my real age!
My fitness crusade lead me to competing in my first body building contest in 1990 at age twenty five, where I won my first regional novice bodybuilding championship, and followed on to top National level placings in New Zealand and Australia in open middle weight, heavy weight, bodyshaping, and figure competitions that has spanned a period of more than 15 years.
In 1996 I became certified as a practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (INLPTA) USA. NLP is about creating effective, positive changes in people's behaviour through goal setting, success motivation, communication and mental re-programming. This means that I can support you on all levels, physically, mentally and emotionally towards achieving your own lifestyle and weight loss goals!
In December 1996 I appeared on the cover of NZ Fitness Magazines Annual Best Bodies issue, which followed by fitness television commercials. In September 1998 I released a NZ Top Ten Best Selling weight loss book called “Kiss Diets Goodbye”. This achieved number four status in the NZ Top Ten Best Sellers list in the first two weeks of being released.
During my years in health and fitness, I have maintained a strong commitment to remaining 100% natural and drug free. I believe you can achieve the body you desire and defy your age by committing yourself to good nutrition, natural supplementation, and the right type of training to compliment your body structure.
Self belief, perseverance and determination are also major criteria in achieving your weight loss goals! Those who succeed, endure the highs and lows of never losing sight of their final outcome. Knowing that you can do it makes the difference!
